What does it mean to you to be a Heartland Community banker?
Being a community banker allows me to have a personal relationship with my clients and be focused on growing our local businesses. I enjoy seeing the way our projects create ripple effects in the community, opening more jobs locally and providing new spaces for people to enjoy.
How do you help your customers and community thrive through your role?
I like to make sure I have a number of local resource partners for businesses to access in times of need. Most of my expertise is in local, state, and government programs that allow capital access to businesses who need an extra push. I enjoy spending my time volunteering at non-profits who provide financial and life-skills education for at-risk youth in our community.
Provide an example of a time you were proud to see your work make an impact?
One of my favorite moments was working on a construction project for a local business. I was able to find a great option for them to finance their project and it was definitely a highlight to see how much the additional space allowed them to grow their business in just 1 year.
