Market Smart

A tiered, fully insured money market savings account for individuals and businesses.

Earn higher interest with low risk. Smart.

To paraphrase a personal finance adage, you date your cash, not marry it. If you want a higher yield savings account without a long commitment, choose a money market. Our Market Smart account offers a competitive tiered rate structure, so the higher your balance the higher your rate – and returns.

Whether you’re an individual or a business, it's not only one of the safest but shortest-term investments you can make. It also keeps your cash liquid while it matures. And a money market account from Heartland Bank, a division of German American Bank is a low-risk investment because it’s backed by the FDIC.

Build your savings faster with Round Up Savings, which automatically rounds up every check card purchase to the nearest dollar and deposits the balance into your savings account.
