Dan Renz, AIF®

Dan joined Heartland Planning Associates, a division of German American Bank after serving as National Client Director for UBS, focusing on retirement plan services for individuals and institutional-sized corporations. Previously, Dan owned his own Registered Independent Advisory firm, advising clients on a myriad of wealth management related topics while also consulting for leaders across Wall Street on challenges their organizations faced. His 25-year career began as a successful Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Dan was promoted to executive leadership positions for the firm and played an instrumental role in crafting their response to delivering a fiduciary standard of care for clients. He also led the integration between Bank of America, US Trust and Merrill Lynch for the state of Ohio. Dan holds the series 7, 63 and 65 licenses through LPL Financial, along with Life, Long Term Care, Disability and Health Insurance licenses in Ohio. In his spare time, he focuses on his family, is an avid reader, movie aficionado and enjoys traveling.
