As part of our commitment to the community, Heartland Bank has teamed up with The Ohio State University, and we’re proud to be visible on the OSU campus and at sporting events throughout the year. Our agribusiness team even participates in the annual Farm Science Review held at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center (MCAC) near London, Ohio, and sponsored by The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
The Heartland Bank Community Foundation (HBCF) is proud to be involved with the football program at Ohio State as well, and through that, has deepened an existing partnership with the USO of Ohio. Beginning in the 2016 football season, with each touchdown scored during the regular season football games, the HBCF donates $100 to the USO. It’s added up to over $50,000 over the years toward military men and women throughout the state of Ohio that are proudly serving our country.
Our local bankers can even be found at the Schottenstein Center, the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and the Covelli Center offering student-athlete financial presentations designed to provide guidance for their financial futures. Structured to accommodate the athletes’ busy schedules, these workshops partner bankers with students to awaken their desire to embrace financial literacy.
