As a result of slowly outgrowing our headquarters in Gahanna, we announced last week the location of a new expanded corporate center, a six acre site in Whitehall along North Hamilton Road, at the gateway of Whitehall Community Park. As part of the corporate center building, Heartland Bank will open its 15th branch office in central Ohio to serve the Whitehall community. Initial plans call for the new two story building to be 60,000 square feet, containing the corporate offices and all support areas for nearly 100 employees. Moody Nolan has been selected as the architect of record on this project.

Heartland Bank has teamed up with the owners of the new Copious Columbus restaurant and the Notes nightclub in the Brewery District to present the inaugural show in the Heartland Bank Feel Good Music Series. Tickets are available now for the inaugural shows on Friday, March 18, with the Blues Traveler front-man, John Popper.

The Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation (GJEF) was created in 2002 to provide a special community focus on education. The purpose of the Foundation is to "Promote Excellence" by funding innovative projects beyond the traditional expenditures of the Board of Education.  Since 2004 the Foundation has provided funding for innovative projects and student support in excess of $1.3 million.

Heartland Bank and 104.9 The River have teamed up again this year to present the 9th annual Money Matters Free Financial Summit on Saturday, March 19. The First Baptist Church of Grove City will host the event again this year and we’re looking forward to providing attendees with a variety of seminars n how to better manage their finances and plan for the future.
